You are welcome to come along to a meeting as our guest to see whether the club is right for you. You can attend up to three meetings for free before becoming a member.

Norwich Speakers' Club meet fornightly on Thursdays from 7.30pm-9.30pm (please arrive at 7.15pm) at Harford Community Centre.

Harford Community Centre

10 The Lastings, Hall Road,
Norwich, NR4 6ET.

There's free parking outside the community centre in ASDA car park for up to 4 hours. You can also take the Purple Line Zone 3 bus route.

If you would like to join our next meeting, please email enquiries@norwichspeakersclub.com to let us know you plan to attend.

If you decide to become a member, you will have access to our fortnightly club meetings and a bespoke Pathways education program to help you progress as a speaker. We also host training days throughout the year, club competitions for that extra (optional) challenge.

Ultimately there will never be any pressure on you regarding when you deliver speeches  or attend meetings, although it would be much better for your personal journey to attend as many meetings as you can.

You can put as little or as much in to your club/ personal development journey as you are able too depending on your work and personal commitments and whatever you choose to commit to will be a benefit to you and the club.

If you would like to join the club then you will need to complete the Application Form (print and download here).

Once you have completed the form, pass it on to any member of the committee; I would leave the Bank Details blank and the Treasurer will contact you directly to ensure complete information security.

Norwich Speakers' Club is affiliated with Toastmasters International. We are a not-for-profit organisation, therefore all fees contribute to membership of Toastmasters International, access to professional training resources, venue hire for organising the meetings and contributions towards special event costs ie. training events and competitions.

The membership fees are:

  • One-off joining fee (includes first month of membership): £50

  • Monthly membership fee: £14

At Norwich Speakers Club, we have proven success with improving members' confidence and public speaking ability. The affordable membership fee enables our speakers to become part of a supportive environment that encourages long-term development.
